Logan Utah Engagement Photos

I loved loved spending time in Logan Utah this weekend with Rachel and Ammon for their engagement photos. They are one of those couples that you can just tell were made for each other. I really connected with each of them over certain parts of our personalities and it was so easy to talk to them. We were in very deep snow and they just went with it! I loved their touch of wearing their Norway hats! You will read why those are important! They get married in May which seems so far away to get to hang out with them again! I'm excited to share their story with you!

I'm excited to share their Logan Utah engagement pictures with you. Rachel told their story from her perspective! It is like a novel! "Ammon and I met January 20, 2023 on a Hinge date! I went on a dating sabbatical through 2022, but decided I would give dating a shot again, and luck would have it Ammon was my first date of 2023. After a few months we started dating exclusively. One of our favorite dates we went on was to the ice castles in Midway. We had only gone on a few dates but it was a fun night getting to know each other. After going through the ice castles we talked for about 3 hours in his car before getting kicked out of the parking lot and then had to make the drive back home to the Lehi/Daybreak area. We both enjoyed talking and getting to know each other into the night. We had fun talking about growing gardens, memorable family vacations, and future goals and dreams."

"Ammon and I got engaged in Norway! I had this trip planned with some friends the year prior...but then I started dating Ammon....and it got more serious....and the thought of going on a 10 day international trip without him didn't sound as fun as would be if he was with me. My friends had all met him at that point and he got along well with everyone, so we extended him an invite to join our Norway crew. Turns out one of my long time college friends, and Norway crew member, ended up being Ammon's 2nd cousin! Which is fun!"

Tony Grove Road Winter Engagements

"Things kept getting more serious, and I knew we would be getting engaged around the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season...which turns out was exactly when we were going to Norway. We picked out a ring together....and Ammon asked if I wanted to know when he was proposing....but I said NO! So I didn't know when or where but I knew it was going to happen. While we were on our trip, Ammon carried that ring around in his pocket the whole time. He thought about proposing at the Eiffel tower in Paris where we had a layover, at a Norweigan Christmas market, at the Cliffs of Mohr in Ireland (which was at the end of our trip), while dogsledding in Norway....but the moment felt right when we were in the middle of nowhere Norway (in Lingen) staying the night at some glass igloos."

"It was 3am....and we were all outside watching an episode of some very bright northern lights passing through...and Ammon proposed. Our friends caught it on video and took some pictures. These are fun to look at now because those pictures were taken in real time. We probably have watched that proposal video 50x's since coming home." I am so grateful to get to serve these two as their wedding and engagement photographer!! Next time I'm going to Norway!!
